Ed was born in Winnipeg, MB on July 8, 1932. He married Agnes (nee Loader) on December 26, 1966. In 1971 they, along with their first son Dan, moved to Calgary, Alberta. In that year Ed purchased Tower Dodge and was Owner/Operator of the dealership until his retirement/sale in 2014.
Ed was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a supporter of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He was a big supporter of family and the community that he lived in. Ed's philanthropic efforts included support for St. Mary's University, the Father Lacombe Centre and numerous other community organizations.
Ed was a big believer in family. Ed and Agnes held many family functions throughout their lives, creating many wonderful memories. He accomplished much throughout his life and was particularly proud of the companies that he built and developed: Almar Developments Ltd., Tower Chrysler Plymouth Ltd. and Tower Auto Leasing. Ed was selected as Dealer of Excellence by his peers.
Ed (Fast Eddy) enjoyed sports and loved to play and watch hockey. He was an avid Flames fan and supporter. He would skip the opera to attend every Flames games. He loved to bet a toonie with anyone, that the Flames would win (especially against the Jets). Ed was a Stampeders fan during the summer.
Ed is survived by two sons, Dan Rewucki (Belinda) and Mike Rewucki (Nicole); five grandchildren: Amanda, Cassandra, Elana, Hugo and Fionn; his sister Joyce Sobering (and most favourite Uncle Don), as well as numerous extended family and friends. Ed was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Agnes (Loader) of Calgary; his parents, Andrew and Mary Rewucki of Winnipeg; his two brothers, William Rewucki and Joseph Rewucki (Geraldine); as well as one sister Jean Gusnoski (John).
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (10827 - 24th Street S.W., Calgary, AB) on August 23, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (10827 - 24th Street S.W., Calgary, AB) on August 24, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow at Holy Spirit Church. Graveside service to follow the reception at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.

It is with sadness that I heard about cousin Eddie's passing. Down through the years we had all to few occasions to get together. Those we had however left me with many wonderful memories. My deep sympathy to Ed’s children and grandchildren. I haven’t seen Ed since he left Winnipeg, many years ago, but remember him well, a fun loving guy. Special condolences to Joyce and Don Sobering.
