ROSE DELIMA GUIMOND
(nee FONTAINE)

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, Rose Guimond. Rose Guimond continued the next step of her journey on September 2, 2021, at the age of 76, where she went peacefully at home with loved ones by her side.
She is reunited with her husband Norbert; parents, John Henry and Helen (Swampy) Fontaine; her in-laws, Sylvester and Caroline Guimond; her siblings, Maurice (Janet), Lizette (John Alfred), Paul, Richard and Leona; her grandson Leander.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her children, Michael, Claudette, Carol and Wanda (Hank); her grandchildren, Cara (Nodin), Karl (Melissa), Sandy (Devonne), Jon-pall, Liam, Courtney (Derek), Destin, Dracen, Dreydon, Zayden and T-Dre; her siblings, Agnes Berthelette and Stanford Fontaine (Lillian); aunt Terry Swampy and Sandra Swampy (Dennis); uncle Norman Fontaine (Verdine).
Rose Delima Guimond was born on September 24, 1944. Rose was dedicated to her job as a teacher assistant for 20 plus years and was admired by many for her willingness to help students and teachers as well. Rose retired at the age of 65 and got to spend her remaining years with family.
Wake service is being held at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church Hall, Sagkeeng First Nation, MB from September 3 to September 6, 2021; funeral service will follow in the church on Monday, September 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with final viewing at 1:00 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
