KATIE NICOLE PCHJEK

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Katie Nicole (Red Stone Woman) on September 1, 2021.
She leaves to mourn her mother Marilyn Courchene and father Mike Pchajek, along with her loving children, Mikkel, Meadow and Edward Pchajek, her sisters, Desiree Gilbert, Tegan and Susie Pchajek; her brothers, Michael (Danielle), Billy and Joey Pchajek, her special nieces, Micaela and Toni Mae, many nieces and nephews, numerous aunties and uncles, plus her special aunty Beverly Courchene and Uncle Todd (Caren), and all her abundantly special friends she loved so much. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Henry, Viola, and her uncle Mervin (aka Moose).
Katie was an E/A with the schools in Sagkeeng, which she so enjoyed and lived life to its fullest. She also loved picking traditional medicines and attending Ceremonies. Everyone enjoyed her bubbly company with tons of laughter but also her affectionate, kind and spiritual ways, always keeping a positive outlook on life. The love she carried for her children was her priority and always catered to celebrate their special birthdays and special holidays. Words cannot express our huge loss and the love we held for Katie as well. If anything that guided her it was her faith and love of family plus her lil scriptures of the bible. May you rest high with your Creator and our loved ones until we meet again. My dear Katie girl, we shall forever hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in heaven. Lovingly missed by many and sincerely gone too soon. Meegwetch to Dr. Abiesheba and her team of nurses.
Wake service is being held at St. Alexander Hall, Sagkeeng First Nation, MB from September 10 to September 11, 2021; funeral service will be held at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Sagkeeng First Nation, MB on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with final viewing at 1:00 p.m. Interment at a later date.
