HARVEY CHARTRAND
A native of St. Laurent and longtime resident of Lorette, Manitoba, Harvey leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Isabelle (nee Coutu); four children, Kerry, Ken, Karmel, and Kathy, and their spouses; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Harvey has been loved by many and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Cremation has taken place.
A private Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse Notre-Dame-de-Lorette at a future date. Interment to follow in St. Laurent, Manitoba.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Flavie-Laurent and Jocelyn House.

We'll miss Harvey he had a great sense of humour. Always had a big smile for everyone. I knew Harvey all my life, he was my grandparents next door neighbour in St. Laurent. He shared many stories and pictures of our family with me. Which I'll always cherish. Our sincere condolences to Isabel. And the family. My heartfelt condolences go out to aunty and the family. Uncle was a fantastic family man and worked hard all his life, including the battle with his health. I'll always remember he had a story to tell me when we would meet. He has moved onto a place where he will be surrounded by endless love and freedom from the limitations and pain created by his illnesses. My heart knows he's at rest and in the hands of our creator. Harvey was such a wonderful man who did so much for our community! We will miss his company at parish breakfasts and community events and seeing Harvey walking in our neighbourhood - such an inspiration for others who have life experience of a stroke. Hervé was M Chartrand our neighbor and friend for many years. He was an always ready Santa Claus for our Christmases and a square dance caller and jigger for our get togethers! That laugh was unique and his jokes were also. Harvey was such a great friend to our parents more so to our dad Leo after mom passed.
