STANISLAVA (STANA) BOLF
October 6, 1922 - October 24, 2021
She will be deeply missed by her son Bob, daughter-in-law Kathy and two grand-daughters, Kelsey and Emma (Graeham), as well as by many other family and friends.
Stana was the last of 10 siblings. Born in the former Yugoslavia (now Slovenia), Stana endured war and post-wartime hardships to immigrate to Canada in 1949. She settled and lived in Winnipeg for the next 70 years before moving to Toronto.
Stana was known for her independence and no-nonsense approach to life. At the same time, she enjoyed opera, dancing, time with her church community, travelling, and being with friends and family. She was much loved.
With so much gratitude, the family thanks Connie and John, who were Stana's "in town" family when she lived in Winnipeg. In addition, the family would like to thank the health care team at the Trillium Health Centre for their exceptional care demonstrated during Stana's stay at the hospital.

To Bob and family, We are so sorry for your loss. Aunt Stana was such an amazing woman! A wealth of information and always curious to learn more. Will hold many fond memories of her coming to visit my father and mother for so many summers and a few vacations... she was always first one up and last to bed!
