JUDY BERGEN
June 23, 1981 – September 27, 2021

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Judy Bergen (nee Giesbrecht), on September 27, 2021, at the age of 40.
Left to cherish her memory, her husband; Jason Bergen, children; Tatum and Harlow, parents; Abe and Mary Giesbrecht, Marvin and Helen Bergen, siblings; Susan Fehr, Jake (Shauna) Giesbrecht, Charlotte (Bernie) Wiebe, Reynold Bergen, Marlen (Kristine) Bergen, David (Laura) Bergen, Delilah Bergen, and Maggie (Kevin) Abwao and 18 nieces and nephews.
Judy was born at St. Boniface Hospital on June 23, 1981. Judy was raised in southern Manitoba, keeping her roots close to home in Altona. Judy graduated from WC Miller Collegiate in 1999, and was married to the love of her life Jason, on May 22, 2010. Judy recently fulfilled her dream of becoming a Certified Nail Technician in January 2021 and found joy expressing her creativity and artistic talent with nail art.
Judy was an incredibly loving and dedicated mother to both Tatum and Harlow. Judy passionately advocated for organ donation and worked hard to raise money and awareness for pediatric heart transplant research. In her passing, Judy gave the incredible gift of life to other families through organ donation.
A funeral service and interment took place on Monday, October 4, 2021, at Altona Cemetery.
