Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I first got to know cousin Ron in the summer of 1965, shingling a barn, cruising on the highway to Minnedosa, ploughing fallow, learning how rural people take baths, talking about everything. In later years, he gave great comfort to my mom (Marguerite Brown), and was a great comfort to me while Mom was dying and in the years after. Ron became my only family and helped me, again and again, to see things for what they were. I will miss him deeply. He was a great positive in my life and in the lives of many others. So much to thank him for. So few good words. “Get across the river before you start shooting at the alligators.” - Posted by: Chris (Cousin) on: Jan 16, 2022
