ERNIE DANOWSKI
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ernie Danowski on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the age of 78.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Patricia; daughters, Jennifer (David) and Karleigh; sister Sharron Carriere (Gerry); sisters-in-law, Marilyn Bobby and Tracey Danowski; niece and nephew Paige and Wyatt Danowski and numerous other family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Edward and Helen and brother Brian. Ernie spent his 38 year career at Land Titles (Province of Manitoba) as a surveyor and then draftsman, retiring in 2003. Ernie enjoyed spending many summers at Falcon Lake, MB with his family doing many fun activities, such as fishing, golfing and boating. Year-round, he enjoyed reading and painting landscape scenes, learning many techniques from Bob Ross. He was always willing to lend a hand to family, friends and neighbours and was often quick with a Dad joke. Ernie was also a member of Knights of Columbus for many years, which he thoroughly enjoyed and made many wonderful friends.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life and interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart & Stroke Manitoba or Diabetes Canada.
