When I met Jeanette & Frank who just moved into Lion's Place. I found sharing their journey from home to a apartment was hard for them to accept. We connected very fast as we were both of Ukrainian heritage and Ukrainian catholic. They had no children or grand children but that never bothered them they had each other and faith and love. They enjoyed the social outings they once experienced. Frank was a caring man of faith and well respected in his church being a Knight of Columbus a catholic faith club. You could see in his smile and twinkle in his eyes that Jeanette meant every thing to him. I took them out for lunch of their chose and to see how Winnipeg had changed.. Frank could fix anything. I was honored to have shared memories with Him and Jeanette. Frank was a member of the Lions Place Adult Day Club, regularly attending together with his dear wife, Claudette. He exemplified gentleness and love, always smiling and being there for Claudette in every way he could. Rest in peace dear Frank. - Posted by: Christine (Friend and LPADC coord) on: Feb 26, 2022

Frank was a kind and gentle soul. All were welcome whenever and anytime for a visit and a meal. Growing and working on our family farm he ventured off on his own at a fairly young age. Frank was a hard worker and he had a lot of determination to succeed no matter what was required. He was most happy to find Claudette the love of his life and together they built their future. Always in my memory. Your sister Addie and family. - Posted by: Addie Branyik (Sister) on: Feb 26, 2022
