August 22, 1957 – February 17, 2022
Daniel Leonard Barsalou, aged 64 years, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at his home at Mariapolis, MB.
Dan is survived by his loving mother Lillian; sons, Dwight, Dexter and Donovan (Rachel); granddaughters, Kassandra, Miya and Lauren; brother Dale and by his father Denis Barsalou. He was predeceased by his brother Dwayne.
A celebration of Dan's life will be held at a later date.

Sincere condolences to family and friends! I was so in awe when I walked into Mariapolis Motors with my Dad when I was a kid and saw Danny disassemble and dump an automatic transmission valve body on the work bench and proceed to clean, examine and reassemble it, valve by valve while my Dad talked to him about some repair we needed. I later saw him do the same with a carburetor .. it wasn't the only reason I went into Automotive at Red River 10 years later, but it definitely flipped the idea switch!!
