CHARLOTTE WASYLUK
Charlotte Wasyluk, of Winnipeg, beloved wife, mother and nana, left this world and entered eternal glory on March 26, 2022.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband John; her three daughters, Angela (Terry), Lisa and Laura (Chris); her grandchildren, Danna (Kris), Harley (Jenelle), Shawn, Danna Amelia, Grace, Matthew, Hope, Katrina and Samantha; six great-grandsons, Lukas, Kaiden, Eilon, Truman, Oliver and Madden; her brother Robert Collins, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Ollie and Alexander Collins, and her sisters, Maureen Campbell and Heather Cador.
Charlotte loved to spend time visiting, playing board games and laughing. Her home was always open to entertain anyone who wished to visit. Food was always served and it was rare to leave without a jar of pickles, jam or some leftovers. Charlotte was a talented crafter, selling many of her creations. She knit, sewed, quilted and enjoyed macramé. Her generous heart gave most of her creations away as gifts. But her greatest love was her family. This came through in many ways, including using her quilting talents to create handmade quilts for her grandchildren, each holding the label "Made with love from Nana", which continue to be treasured as they wrap themselves in her love.
Service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, Wednesday, April 6 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Once one met Charlotte, one never forgot her because she was a genuinely nice person with a good heart. I met her through a mutual friend and saw her several times as she had her first two sweet girls. We moved and lost touch but I always wondered about her. My condolences to Johnny, Angela, Lisa, Laura and the rest of the family. The world has lost a truly lovely lady. - Posted by: Rae Poole Reid (friend) on: Apr 21, 2022

Charlotte was a very close and dear friend to me for many years. I am so sorry John that you, your family and friends are bereaved of her at this time. There is no doubt how deeply she loved each one of you. You were always in her prayers, along with John's. As a couple when they prayed to Jesus they were a dynamite prayer couple. I have no doubt they moved heaven and that many of their prayers were answered. Charlotte, was a very good teacher. She taught several of us how to make the most scrumptious beet leaf buns. Some were taught how to make pickles and so on. . . As has been mentioned one never left empty handed. I shared numerous good laughs and times of fellowship in her home. She loved Jesus her Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ, and was a powerful worship leader. Those were especially blessed times and are beautiful memories of Charlotte. Without a doubt I will really miss her. And I'll be forever be grateful I knew her. May the Lord, bless and keep each one of you in His care, wrapping His arms of peace and love around you, taking you through this time of loss in triumph.
