STUART ALLAN MANN
September 2, 1948 - April 13, 2022

On April 13 we lost our husband, father, and friend suddenly.
Allan will be greatly missed by his best friend and wife Laurie Mann; sons, Mike (Rob) Giffen, and James Mann. Allan will also be missed by many extended family members that have been a great support to the family. Allan was proud of his family and took great pride and joy in celebrating all his family and friends' accomplishments.
Throughout Allan's journey he worked and held many unique and interesting career opportunities. Each offering their own rewards and friendships along the way. Whether you recognized his voice from radio, or from sharing a joke, Allan could always command an audience. Recently in retirement, Allan enjoyed spending his summers out at the lake with Laurie, kayaking, playing golf, visiting friends, and talking about sports.
Those fortunate enough to know Allan, knew him to be a generous person that always looked for ways to make meaningful connections with those that needed it most. Allan's time with you always gave you exactly what you needed.
As per Allan's wishes, a private service of immediate family will be held at a later date.
The family appreciates the well wishes, however in lieu of flowers we would encourage others to share a random act of kindness the way Allan would have done, and to always remember to tell your family and friends you love them.

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I was lucky enough to be Al's nextdoor neighbour for nearly my entire life starting from when I was young. I could always count on him when I needed help with something. I've carried that forward and always offer to help neighbours in need. I always enjoyed our conversations outside. He'll be sorely missed. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. - Posted by: Matthew Greenspan (Neighbour, friend) on: Apr 24, 2022
