CAROLYN IRIS MARGERY BAILEY
November 26, 1950 May 13, 2022
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Carolyn Iris Margery Bailey of Winnipeg on May 13, 2022, at the age of 71 years.
Carolyn will be lovingly remembered by her sister Eva Prysizney; brother-in-law Joseph Prysizney; niece Bonnie (Denis) Pescitelli; great-nephew Tyler; great-niece Kaylee and many other family members and friends.
Carolyn was predeceased by her mother Gwenda; father Harold and sister Wendy.
Carolyn was born in England. She grew up in the Brooklands neighbourhood in Winnipeg. She excelled at high school sports and was the Valedictorian of her graduating class in 1970. She started her career with CIBC right out of school and was a dedicated employee until her retirement. She enjoyed her work and most importantly, the people she worked with. She was an active member of the CIBC Retiree's Club.
Carolyn loved travelling to the Caribbean, Hawaii, Tofino, British Columbia, Clear Lake, Manitoba and especially visiting family overseas in England and Scotland. Carolyn was eagerly anticipating a vacation to Mexico with family this coming December. Carolyn enjoyed walking, golfing, shopping and trips to the spa. She was the family photographer. If anyone ever needed help or just a friend to be there, Carolyn was always more than happy to be that friend. She spent time collecting items for numerous charities and organizations. Her love for her family was top priority. She attended every baseball or soccer game she could to cheer on Tyler and Kaylee; attended every concert or recital.
Carolyn left us far too soon. We are left feeling so fortunate to have had her in our lives. She has left a legacy of love, generosity and caring.
Honourary pallbearers are Joseph Prysizney, Eva Prysizney, Denis Pescitelli, Bonnie Pescitelli, Tyler Pescitelli and Kaylee Pescitelli.
Memorial donations may be made in Carolyn's name to the charity of your choice.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedics, the staff in the Emergency Department at HSC and the staff in 3E at Riverview.
We will never forget your
true beauty and spirit.
You will always be remembered and loved.

Our deepest sympathies go out to all of Carolyn’s family. We were shocked and very sorry to hear of Carolyn’s passing. Vicky worked with Carolyn at One Lombard for many years and that is how I became acquainted with and eventually worked with Carolyn over time, We enjoyed her company at a number of different get togethers over those years. I don’t remember Carolyn as ever being less than sociable, cheerful and happy. Until we meet again Carolyn. - Posted by: Earl Grantham and Victoria Huber (Friends) on: May 27, 2022
