Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySIMMONS: Lorna Jean Simmons (nee Mitchell) September 18,1939 – May 6, 2022 Lorna passed away peacefully on May 6, 2022 in Enderby B.C. She was born and raised in Rivers Manitoba where she attained all her schooling. Lorna was known as very proficient figure skater and this love stayed with her all of her life. She is survived by her two children and their spouses: Dan (Jeneth) Simmons and Donna McKenzie (Vince Kelly). Lorna is also survived by four grandchildren, Barbara, Megan, Stephanie and Nicholas, four great-grandchildren, Marcus, Marshall, Brandon and Alice and siblings Bob and Glen Mitchell, as well as many nieces and nephews. Lorna wished to be cremated, and her children wish to lay her to rest in Rivers Manitoba, where she will be beside her parents Roy and Jean Mitchell. A big thank you to Parkview Care Home in Enderby B.C. for taking such good care of Lorna and making her comfortable. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Just heard of Lorna's passing....so sorry to hear...She was absolutely the best boss I ever had...took extra care to consider the feelings and situations of her staff. To be honest she was more like a mother figure than a boss which is why she was so loved. Again....so sorry for your loss.
