CARL CERMAK
November 3, 1934 – May 15, 2022

Carl passed away peacefully on May 15, 2022, with his wife Joyce and their friend Shirley by his side.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Joyce; daughter Tanis (Rolando); grandchildren, Jason (Roan), Ryan (Nicole), Tiana and Yanni; great-granddaughter Ronney; sisters, Sylvia (Adam) and Helen; and sister-in-law Mary. He was predeceased by his parents, four brothers, four sisters and nephew Perry.
Carl was born in Dauphin, Manitoba. In his early years, Carl worked at the Royal Alexandra Hotel in Winnipeg. He was also a skilled carpenter and home builder. He loved to sing and play his guitar. His skills and harmonious voice will be missed. His home was filled with country music, movies and collections of bikes, for which he enjoyed stories depicted for each. He enjoyed curling, golf, baseball and hockey.
Carl missed his grandchildren dearly and was always looking forward to their numerous visits with him. He had a unique and individual relationship with each of his grandchildren and cherished time spent with each of them.
The family would like to thank the staff at Deer Lodge Centre T3 North for their love and caring support.
As per Carl's wishes cremation has taken place and a family memorial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Deer Lodge Centre (Dementia Unit) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
