Rene died peacefully at Riverview Health Centre.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Lisa (Bing) and two granddaughters, Caitlin (Fred) and Jane (Jair). Rene was predeceased by his wife Pat, in 2020.
A special thank you to all those who helped Rene through his illness.

Hi Lisa, My condolences on the passing of your dad. He was such a kind man and always greeted me with a warm smile. Supper smart, I've never known anyone other than your dad who taught a crow to speak (Hi Pat & Put that back), witty and wickedly funny, and he took me on my first plane ride.....so cool.
