LINDA REMMERT
January 26, 1948 - July 7, 2022
Linda passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on July 7, 2022, with her daughter Cindy at her side.
Linda was born in Scotland and moved to Canada in 1960. She completed her education and went on to have an accomplished career as a Trustee.
Linda was predeceased by her husband Brian Remmert on July 4, 2022. Their families were joined together in the early 1980s and were together for over 40 years.
She will be sadly missed by her son Joseph Caplette; daughters, Cindy Caplette (Shane Dumaine) and Heather Pope; grandson Wesley Payjack (Teresa Molnar); and many other family and friends.
She was too well loved to ever be forgotten.
In accordance with Linda's wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service is planned.

Linda and I met each other 0ver 50 years ago. We bonded very quickly and referred to us as Sisters. Our Children grew up together. Both our families moved around Canada, but we ended our last years in Winnipeg. My Husband Jim and Linda's Husband Brian shared our friendship as a family. I have missed Linda so much because she had been sick for so long. Brian looked after her even though he was not well either. Our hearts go out to their Children especially since they passed only 3 days apart, Jim and I have been together for 47 years. My heart is crushed, I am so glad that I can lean on Jim as well as our Children. God Bless all of us.
