GORDON WILLIAM BLEACKLEY

BLEACKLEY: Suddenly, on June 15th, 2022, Gordon William Bleackley was taken from his wife and family following a short illness at the Brandon General Hospital. Gordon's early years were spent in Saskatchewan, before joining the R.C.M. Police. Postings included Winnipeg, Virden, Brandon, and Carberry, where he met his future wife, Shirley Switzer. In 1966 the family moved to Saskatchewan and built a new home in Pilot Butte. They were looking forward to celebrating their next wedding anniversary in October. The growing family with their varied interests kept everyone in touch, even during the pandemic. Gordon is survived by his wife Shirley and daughter Karen (Jim Hartwick). Son, Bruce, passed in 1980. Gordon is also survived by two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Rest in peace my love!
