MATTHEW JORGES MOORE (OLIVEIRA)
March 30, 1990 - July 20, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved Matty at the young age of 32.
Matthew will be missed every day by his father Ricardo; brother Ricky (Roxanne); nephew Carter; loving spouse Kristen; sisters, Shawntel and Victoria; grandmother Alcinda; aunt Maria (Jimmy); uncles, Rui, Gilberto (Carla), Marc (Christina) and Kevin (Brittany); nephews, Jaxin, Noah, and Miguel; niece Olivia; in-laws, Gilda (Russ) and Alyshia (Marvin); best friend Karsten; and countless beloved cousins. Matthew was predeceased by his grandfather Rui.
No matter what Matty endured, he always lived life to the fullest and wore his heart on his sleeve. He and his brother Ricky overcame so much together growing up which gave them the most unbreakable bond.
Matty always found the good in everything and everyone around him. Matty was hardworking and worked as a concrete finisher for Bird Construction for many years. He was an outdoorsman and loved camping and fishing. Matty would never turn down an opportunity to spend time with family and friends. We will treasure the memories we have of him and will never forget his warm eyes, bright smile, infectious laugh, and gentle hugs.
Prayers will be held on Thursday, July 28 at 7:00 p.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 472 Kirkfield Street at McBey Ave. Funeral service on Friday, July 29 at 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 4588 Roblin Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Kevin Oliveira, Timothy Santos, Dylan Oliveira, Karsten Yerex, Russ Schmidt, and Jerome Arlegue. Honorary Pallbearer Jaxin Oliveira.
