ADAM GEORGE PALANIUK
August 30, 1984 - July 23, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Adam after a brief recurring battle with mental illness.
He is survived by his parents, George and Joanne; twin brother Ryan; grandmother Jacqueline Bruce; Uncle Rob Bruce (Helen, Colin and Nicole in Victoria); Great-Uncle Erwyn Bruce (Violet, Greg and Jason) in Thunder Bay. Predeceased by his grandfather Darwyn Bruce and Bill Palaniuk, uncles, and great-grandparents.
Adam was born in Thunder Bay and moved with his family to Winnipeg in 1996. He attended Charleswood Jr. then attended Shaftesbury High School and graduated from U of M with a degree in Computer Science.
Adam began his career with Micro Pilot and then moved on to D2L. He worked with people he admired and respected in his short career. He was a talented musician. He loved aviation, gaming, camping, and animals. He was very kind, charitable and funny.

We will love him and miss him
for the rest of our lives.

Services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish with Monsignor Comeault residing.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter or the Prairie Rehab Wildlife Organization would be greatly appreciated as he continually supported them.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Adam was my best friend as kids in Thunder Bay and I was always sad we lost touch after he moved. I’m heartbroken to hear of his passing last year and know we’ll never get to reconnect as adults. George, Joanne and Ryan - my thoughts are with you all and I’ll never forget so many happy memories with Adam as kids. - Posted by: Geoff Coombs (Friend) on: Aug 05, 2023
