Mom was active with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church women's groups in Winnipeg and later in Ituna when she moved there. She took a lot of pride in her flower gardens and loved to cook, bake, knit and build jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed having her grandchildren visit her in Ituna where they loved raiding the raspberry bushes and enjoying her baked goods. Many thanks to the staff at Carberry Personal Care Home where she spent her later years and passed away. A Graveside Service will be held at Brandon Cemetery, 1901 18th St, Brandon, MB on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anne may be made to the Ukrainian War Cause of your choice. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Sincere condolences to Bill, April, Cassandra, Emily (Gerald). So sorry for your loss. I enjoyed the laughter with your mom/baba in your kitchen when she was in the city. She was such fun and full of life. She was a very smart, independent lady. You have been blessed with many years and great memories to hold in your hearts. - Posted by: Loreen Coutts (Friend ) on: Aug 31, 2022
