GRASBY: It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Barbara Carmelle Grasby on July 25, 2022, at Fairview Home in Brandon. Barbara was born on September 8, 1961, in Rivers, MB to Melvin and Carmin Grasby. She grew up at Moore Park and attended school at Forrest Elementary & High School. Barbara loved all animals from the time she could crawl until she passed away. She always had cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, etc, some hers and some she was fostering back to good health. Barbara was a very kind, caring and gentle person, with a heart of gold. She would give you the shirt off her back if you were in need, or see you got a hot meal, or maybe a bed for the night, but above all else she loved her three boys: Daniel, Robert, and Jason. She was always there for them. She loved all family get togethers (Christmas, Birthdays, etc). Barbara is survived by her three sons Jason, Daniel and son Shayden, Robert (Steffany) and their children Alexus and Drakeus; mother Carmin; brother Aaron (Teresa) and their children Gina, Nickolas and Carolyn; brother Travis (Anita) and their three children Zachary, Jordan with sons Dennis and Archer, and Jeremy (Stephany) with their children Jaiden and Savanna. Barbara was predeceased by her father Melvin in 2009. A service to celebrate Barbara's life was held at Memories Funeral Chapel in Brandon on August 5, 2022. Burial was at Moore Park Cemetery in the Grasby family plot following the service.
