PAULINE EZAKO
August 20, 1927 - August 24, 2022
At home, with her family by her side, we sadly announce the peaceful passing of Pauline Ezako at the age of 95.
Pauline is survived by her sons, Wayne and Ron (Michelle); left to cherish are brothers, Maurice (Elsie), Joe (Carol); sister Phyllis and many nieces and nephews.
Pauline was predeceased by her parents, Anne and John; her husband Alex, of 52 years; sisters, Mary, Elsie, Anna and Ollie; brothers, Peter, Paul, and her daughter-in-law Judy (Wayne).
Pauline was born in Prud'homme, Saskatchewan, the fifth of ten children, leaving the family for Winnipeg at a young age, landing a job as a seamstress making blue jeans. Continuing her career in sewing she worked at Gerard Kennedy (shirts and drapes), Phillip Weiss custom upholstery, retiring in 1994. Pauline met the love of her life Alex at a party through her brother Paul. Married in 1950, had two sons in 1952 then in 1954.
Mom's true love was cooking and baking, crochet and knitting slippers for the family. Mom loved to go to Half Moon for the best hot dogs around. Mom was always there for us, no matter what, she was a rock. She would always say "if you can't do it right Learn how".
We will all dearly miss you mom.
A special thank you to home care, home care nursing, and palliative care for keeping mom comfortable and going the extra mile.

She will be missed as Pauline made the best Perogies and Borscht and Cabbage Rolls, her house was always open. I still remember the time she gave me and Ron heck for not going to school, as we thought we covered our tracks, but never put your Lunch Bags in the trash. She always had a smile. - Posted by: Bernard Lemanski (Friend ) on: Sep 03, 2022
