AUDREY MARY ISABELLA HOPKINS
June 16, 1930 - Edinburgh, Scotland
August 29, 2022 - Calgary, Alberta

Audrey Hopkins (nee McNaughton), beloved wife of the late Richard Hopkins of Calgary, AB passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022, at the age of 92 years.
Audrey was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on June 16, 1930. Audrey and Richard moved to Canada in 1956, first settling in Winnipeg and then moving to Calgary in 1997. Mum's life was about her family. We have many good memories of the get-togethers and her taking care of her family. Mum enjoyed gardening and reading. We always joked with Mum as her favourite saying was "I can't be bothered".
Audrey is survived by her children, Arlene (Tim) Loucks of Calgary, AB and Brett Hopkins of Roberts Creek, BC; grandchildren, Lisa Huebner (Trent), Otis, Georgia, Sylvie and Spencer; and great-grandchildren, Van, Reggie and Bryn; as well as nieces and nephews, Ross (Val) McLeod and family, Joyce (Bob) Kurnell and family, and Mandy McLeod (Brent) and family.
Audrey was predeceased by her husband Richard, her son Wayne, and her sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and George McLeod.
At her request, there will be no service and a private interment will take place at a later date.

In living memory of Audrey Hopkins, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area.
