AGNES JEAN KRUEGER
October 8, 1929 - August 29, 2022

Jean Krueger died peacefully on August 29, 2022, just shy of her 93rd birthday.
She will be missed greatly by her husband of nearly 68 years, Harry. Her children, Gordon, Nancy and Peter (Trish); as well as her much loved grandchildren, Aaron and Amy.
Jean was born and raised in Summerberry, Saskatchewan. After high school graduation she moved to Winnipeg to take her nursing training at the Winnipeg General Hospital (HSC). Several years later she moved to Estevan, Saskatchewan to work and be close to her family.
While in Estevan she met Harry. They were married October 2, 1954 and then moved to Winnipeg in 1960. She and Harry had many wonderful years together and enjoyed many activities. Dancing was a favourite pastime. They were fortunate to travel to many different locales, but were especially fond of their annual trip to Hawaii, and later Arizona.
Jean was a kind and supportive woman. She was involved in a number of volunteer works over the years. She organized the yearly Fall Supper at her church for years; worked at the local food bank, and drove for Meals on Wheels. Jean was an avid reader, and enjoyed needlepoint, gardening and football. Her greatest gift was the support she gave to her family. She was always present for sporting events, concerts, theatre presentations and any activity in which her children were involved.
Her family is grateful to the staff of Meadowood Manor for their care and kindness over the past few years.
As per her wishes, no service will be held. A family interment will occur at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, a donation may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to a charity of your choice.
