DAWN ERVEN (HUNT)

ERVEN: Dawn (nee Hunt) Erven passed away peacefully on August 28, 2022 in the Minnedosa Hospital with her husband of 59 years by her side. Dawn was 83 years old, the first born to parents Margaret (nee Dewar) and Robert, and spent her childhood in Neepawa. She married Lorne at the age of 24 and they raised their family on the farm by Clanwilliam, then moved to Minnedosa where they resided since 1999. She was an active member on several organizations including the Crocus Women's Institute, Clanwilliam United Church, Quilting Club, 50 Plus Centre, and various choirs. Dawn was always with a smile and a laugh. She will be forever missed by her husband Lorne; children Keith (Frances), Laura (Shane), Alison; sister Margo Dunphy; sister-in-laws Lois, Eleanor, Marilyn, Diane (Les); grandchildren Emma, Meredith, Jorja, Signe; plus several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers Alexander and Harley; and son Craig. A service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Minnedosa United Church, Minnedosa, MB.
