I sang in the choir at Westworth with Merle for a number of years. She was such a kind, loving woman and I’m blessed to have known her. The service celebrating her life was a wonderful tribute to her. I’m sure she would have loved all the music. Lorraine Moore - Posted by: Lorraine Moore (Friend) on: Oct 30, 2022

Cynthia and Birnie, You are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. Merle and I have been long time friends and have kept in touch over the past years, I worked with Merle in the telephone office in Crystal City and we also joined the company Nutri Metics as skin care consultants. What ever Merle took part in she took pride in her work. You will miss your Mother, and may beautiful memories bring you comfort and peace. - Posted by: PatMoore (friend) on: Oct 26, 2022

Cynthia and Birnie: I am truly sorry on the loss of your Mom. She was a fun lady and I well remember the times I spent at your house when you were 'quite' a bit younger. I was always so proud of the times that people told me I looked like your Mom. She was so good to Auntie B in the past. Being the youngest in the family, she took care of Auntie B so well. I always admired her for her caring ways. May she RIP. She's earned it. - Posted by: Barbara Reed (neice) on: Oct 25, 2022

Judy and I and our family offer our condolences to Cynthia and Birnie on the passing of your mother. She was a great person and an aunt who was always interested in how her nephews and nieces were doing. I know she looked forward to the "newsletters" she would receive from us. She was a bright light who will be greatly missed. She is no longer with us but her spirit lives on in the many great memories we have of her. Her legacy is one of which you can be proud. There is no greater gift than to spread happiness to other people and "Auntie Merle" certainly accomplished that mission well. - Posted by: Lloyd& Judy McTaggart (nephew) on: Oct 25, 2022

My sincere sympathies to the family for the loss of your Mother and Grandmother. Recently was in touch to chat about her well-being and sharing news of her first cousin Joyce. May she Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Pamela Salzburger (Cousin) on: Oct 25, 2022
