December 10, 1935 - October 22, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Wally, Oma, Great Oma, who passed away at the age of 86.
She will be remembered by her children, Anneliese (Brent), Rosemarie (George), Fred (Pauline), Shirley (Matthew), Beverley (Eric), Renate (Doug), Anita (John). She will also be missed by 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Waltraud was predeceased by her husband Manfred; her seven brothers and an infant sister.
The family thanks the staff at Jubilee Lodge Nursing Home, in Edmonton, where Wally spent her last 10 months, for their wonderful care.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, Manitoba.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Waltraud's name may be made to either Diabetes Canada or The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
