ELAINE ICEL SOHOR (CODVILLE)
August 25, 1960 - October 29, 2022
Peacefully, with family by her side Elaine passed away at the age of 62.
Elaine will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 33 years; Gordon, daughter Katelyn (Dylan), son Steven, the light of her life: grandson Mason, and many close friends and extended family.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff on GD3, at Health Sciences Centre for their wonderful care in her final days. As well as the homecare staff, most notably Betty, who provided exceptional care and companionship over the last several years.
As per Elaine's wishes, cremation has taken place with a private service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Elaine's name may be made to the MS Society of Canada.

We are so saddened to hear of our dear friend Elaine’s passing. We shared so many wonderful memories as neighbours and raising our young kids together. We shared camping and spring break trips, dinners, hockey rinks and many late night parties that were always a great time. Elaine’s smile and laughter were always infectious and we sure do miss those days. Our deepest condolences to you Gordy, Steven, Katelyn, Dylan and Mason and all who new and loved her. My very 1st friend when we moved to Garden City and my Best Friend all through elementary school..running back and forth between our house, those fun sleepovers, and our favourite thing was sliding down the stairs in her 2 story house in pillowcases, bouncing on her couch (like rocking chairs) and listening to big brother Jim’s records. Sharing clothes and stories with Dorothy, sitting in Susan’s car clicking the radio button to rock to the music (it was a push button radio..soo cool!, and then little Robert, just teasing him probably). So many memories of going to the Codville cottage (those adjoining closets), and visiting Aunty Lucille in North Dakota…the memories go on and on..a true best friend!! I was so saddened to her of Elaine’s passing. I have always had great memories of the good old days and always good times with Elaine. It was so nice to see her a while back and catch up on life.
