SHAUN DAVID BIBLOW

Shaun passed away suddenly on November 1, 2022.
Shaun is survived by his three sisters Suzanne Dally, Shelley Kulcsycki and Sharon Biblow McNamara; as well as his children Vanessa Pearson, Braiden and Jordan Biblow, Kian Woods; and his three grandchildren Brody, Grayson, and Harlynn.
He was predeceased by his parents Ivan and Lorraine.
Shaun was a man of promise, good intentions and sadly at times, regretful outcomes. He had many talents and passions in his life. He was musically gifted playing the guitar and drums and loved his time jamming with friends on the weekend. He also found great joy in fishing, yard work at the cabin, camping throughout Manitoba and golfing. Shaun gave and was bestowed with great love in his life but the hurdles he faced took him to places that fractured bonds, tested hope and shattered dreams held by him and those he loved. The message below written by his daughter Vanessa beautifully captures the way in which Shaun touched the lives of those around him.
"Your legacy will forever be remembered as some of the best parts of your children and grandchildren, the way you enjoyed the outdoors and your passion for music and the charm of your smile (you've passed it down to every son and grandson you have). The "what ifs" are really trying on my brain right now, but I wish you could know the ways you impacted my life. I'm thankful for my siblings and the bonus family in my life. I'm sad you never got to know your grandchildren but I'm thankful your struggle is over, and I hope you've found peace".
At the end of his life please dwell on the joy he gave and felt in union with those closest to him. While we mourn the loss of Shaun and the hope for what could have been, we are comforted to know that he is now at peace. Troubles can no longer follow you dear soul.
In lieu of a funeral service, the family asks that anyone who wishes to do so, requests a mass or prayer in his honour at the place of faith of their choosing.

My condolences to the family. Shaun was a great guy. He was like another older brother to me. He was Friends with my older brothers. I heard him play his guitar when he was first starting out in my dad's basement while my brother James played drums. Shaun took me out for ice creams, bumper shinning and working on cars. Our condolences to the family on the loss of Shaun. We have been very close to the Biblow family for years but our memories of Shaun are of a young boy waving to us across the street, getting permission to cross the street and visit. And the memory of Ron filleting the 1st fish Shaun had caught, showing him how it should be done. His mother told us that he was so proud & he ate the whole fish himself. And the memory of Shaun telling Claudia how much he loved her cookies, with his hand out for another. These are the memories we will keep in our hearts. I didn’t know until I read this you only 9 years older, you had me looking up to you with your talents and your knowledge. You gave me my first job with your best friend Trevor and taught me Hair of the Dog on the first of many lesson nights. Seeing you play that Gibson with your Marshall dropped my jaw to floor. Our condolences to Shaun's family. We got to know him when he lived next door to us in our townhouse. He was quiet and kind and we always enjoyed our front porch or driveway chats. We hadn't seen him in years but we still to this day speak of him often. You gave me the three most amazing gifts. I’m sorry your demons made you miss so much of their lives. I look at them and I see you at times. To Shaun’s Family I did not know my cousin Shaun as he is much younger than I. It’s sad that cousins are not always close but your words Vanessa made me come to know Shaun a little.
