The family of John Kliewer sadly announce his passing on October 18, 2022, at Grace Hospital. He was 81 years young.
Funeral service Friday, November 18, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at Saint Charles Parish; 320 Saint Charles Street.

I worked with John at Deer Lodge Centre for many years. John had a rough exterior and usually spoke his mind. He also had a heart of gold and would help everyone at any time. He had a great knowledge as a machinist millwright and I used his knowledge to repair things at home. He was great at maintaining the equipment at Deer Lodge. He sold me winning Grey Cup tickets many times from the K of C. We shared many a lunch break in the Cafeteria at Deer Lodge. We told each other many bad jokes .My deep sympathy to his family.
