CARROL ANNE (UNGER) SIMM
March 26, 1957 – November 6, 2022
After a brief illness at St. Boniface Hospital, Carrol passed away with her husband at her side in the early hours of November 6, 2022.
Carrol was predeceased by her parents, Ben and Alvena Unger; her brother Gordon; and in-laws, David and Betty Simm.
Carrol is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Rick Simm and her Baby Boy George the Parrot, her twin sister Dale King and sister Sherry Moodie (Randy), sisters-in-law, Wanda and Lola, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Carrol worked for several years for Petroleum Branch of the Province of Manitoba.
Donations can be made to Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation or CancerCare Manitoba.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at 603 Wellington Crescent at Academy Road (N/W corner). In the meantime, Carrol's family kindly requests that her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by visiting her tribute page at EthicalDeathCare.com. How sad to read this. Carol and Rick Simm, I met them when I was a Health Care Aide and grew a bond during Rick's care. Carol was so supportive and such a warm, caring woman. Carrol was such a loving and generous soul. Rick owes much of his recovery to her persistence in him getting all the physiotherapy and care he needed along with his own hard work.
