MARK MALASHEWSKI
July 1952 October 2022
With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Mark Malashewski at home in his sleep on October 30, 2022.
Mark grew up in Transcona and worked as a Carman at the CNR Shops till his retirement in 2002. Mark loved to ride Harley Davidson motorcycles in his younger years, he also adored cats and was a proud and loving owner of many throughout his life; especially his current two cats, Baby and Tiny Bits. Mark will be missed by all who knew him and he will always be loved for his generosity and caring nature.
As per his wishes cremation has taken place, scattering will occur and a memorial service will be held at a later date at Transcona Cemetery. Rest in peace brother and uncle. We love you!
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society is encouraged.
"And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it." Ecclesiastes 12:17

I knew Mark earlier in his life when he was younger and hanging around with the neighborhood kids on Victoria. Then again in later years when we both worked at Symington Yard. I would occasionally give him a ride home to his parents house after work where he was staying at the time. He was an interesting person who definitely left an impression on his co-workers. - Posted by: Hugh MCCORMICK (co worker) on: Nov 19, 2022
