I was so incredibly saddened to learn of Sandra’s passing. I can’t think of my teenage years without thinking of Sandra, as she was such a large part of it. Over the years we lost touch, as many people do, however we were lucky enough to reconnect about 15 yrs ago and I’m so thankful for it. Sandra was the catalyst to routinely bringing us Kevinites together for an evening of laughter and stories, until Covid unfortunately put a temporary halt to it a few years ago. We’ll meet again though, Sandy’s friends, and will toast to her memory, as she was the glue that held us together. Everyone, absolutely everyone, loved Sandi…and Sandi loved each and every one of us back. Mrs. McLean and Shelley, my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Sandra was taken far too early…it just doesn’t seem fair. Sandi, my friend, I will love and miss you forever and you will always hold a special place in my heart. I went to school with Sandra from Robert H. Smith. We had a very charmed upbringing and I was able to keep in touch with her even gratefully receiving her mother’s shortbread recipe which I had requested decades after enjoying them without fail at school every Christmas, Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s day. I also caught up with her while she was in Kenora a few summers ago. - Posted by: Charles Crossin (Classmate) on: Nov 19, 2022

So many memories of running down the back lane to the McLean's house… the best childhood ever. Remember having lunches at the dinner table, grilled cheese, chicken noodle soup and Mrs McLean's cookies for dessert. I am so glad I caught up with Sandra a few years ago on one of my trips back home, it was like we were kids again. My condolences to you all, I hope you know how much she meant to all of us.
