LILLIAN PATRICIA (PAT) ROSS

It is with great love and much sadness that we said goodbye to our beloved mother, Pat Ross, aged 84 years of Winnipeg, MB on November 20, 2022.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Karen (Len) Terlinski and Shelley Raven. Mom was blessed with three grandchildren, Krystal, Kerilee (Dan), and Matthew (Jennifer). She had especially fond memories of lifelong friends Betty (Barry) Meakins and Brenda Buccholz. We have peace in knowing that she knew how deeply she was loved.
Some of Mom's favorite pastimes were reading, sewing, quilting, baking, cooking, spending time at Sunnyside Bay, and most importantly, being around her family. Nanny, as she was known to her grandchildren, could be counted on for sleepovers, Easter egg hunts, making and assembling gingerbread houses, camping, and delicious meals that always came with leftover take-home treats.
Mom had been a proud member of the International Order of Jobs Daughters, Mizpah Chapter of OES, Samara Toastmistress Club, Taoist Tai Chi Society, and a longtime member of Transcona Memorial United Church where she served on the official board and on various committees.
Mom is now reunited with her parents, Bill and Gladys; sister Peg; brother Barry; and son-in-law Ron.
We will remember Mom as a feisty lady who raised two strong and loving daughters.
In keeping with Mom's wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Memories and stories published by those who knew her are available at EthicalDeathCare.com.
The family is grateful to the staff for the excellent care Mom received at River Ridge Retirement Residence. Your care and compassion were very comforting for Mom.

Mom, you will always be in our hearts. Peace be with you. MIZPAH.
