(nee HOYE)

Diane Cheryl Oystreck (nee Hoye) passed away peacefully November 28, 2022, at home at the age 67. Her soul has left her body and is now in our hearts.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and William Hoye, beloved aunt Florence Hoye, and father-in-law George Oystreck.
Diane is survived by her husband Randy, children Adam, Jaclyn (William) and Jonathan, and grandchildren Maxwell, Emmett and Olsen. She also leaves brother Donald (Donna) Hoye; sisters-in-law Vionne and Estelle (Robert); mother-in-law Dolaine; nieces and nephews Bree (Vlad), Bryce, Jennie and Devin; and best friend Karen.
She was born and raised in West Kildonan, and graduated from Garden City Collegiate. She met and married the love of her life, Randy, and moved to Transcona, where they lived for the rest of her life.
She loved her summers at the cottage, Delta as a child, Matlock throughout her life. She loved the beach, chatting on the pier, and birdwatching on the veranda; the most precious memories were made there with family. She and Randy also enjoyed vacationing at the Grand Sirenis resort in Mexico.
She loved attending and supporting her children's sports activities, and dedicated her life to their aspirations. Warm smile and kind-hearted, she was fiercely protective of those she loved.
The family especially thanks Dr. Jessica Beatty ND and the staff at Via Natural Medicine for helping Diane be around for the birth of her beautiful grandsons, as well as the compassionate people at Palliative Care.
Diane requested not to have a funeral, so please get together with your families and share her memory.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
