HARDY: Georgina Morrison Murray of Brandon, MB, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at the age of 97 years. We have mixed feelings of great sadness and gratitude; sadness at the loss of one so well loved who will be missed by so many. We take solace in the fact she was 97 years of age; fun loving, active, bright and witty to the end. She will be missed by daughters: Shelley Carlin (Richard) and Janet McQueen (Bruce); two loving grandchildren: Chad and Caitlin (Steven Crampton) and two great-granddaughters: Raimi Houminer-Fenske and Paige Crampton. Georgina is survived by her sister-in-law Edith Hardy and brother-in-law Bill Campbell. Georgina was predeceased by her loving husband Jack; her grandson Kris Fenske; her parents Murdo and Annie Murray; brothers: Malcolm; Alexander; John; Donald and Murdo; sisters: Mary; Effie; Kay and Christine; brother-in-law Bill Hardy and sister-in-law Margaret Campbell. Thank you to nephew Bruce and nieces Carol and Linda for your weekly calls to Aunt Jo. A private family service was held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Georgina may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Manitoba and Winnipeg, 930 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg MB R3G 0P8.
