MAY: Derrick passed away peacefully at the Assiniboine Centre in Brandon, Manitoba, on Wednesday December 14, 2022, at the age of 64, after a courageous and lengthy battle with COPD. He will be lovingly remembered and treasured by his devoted spouse Karen, of 18 years. He will also be greatly missed by his loving daughter Chrystal (Jason), and his sons John, and Kyle (Ashley), and by his many grandchildren. Dear son of the late Doris and John May. Beloved brother of Lezlie (Bob) Hamilton, the late Carey (Agnes) May, and the late Troy (Lori) May. He will also be remembered by his many nieces and nephews, cousins, and his many good friends. There will be no funeral service at this time, however a celebration of his life is being planned for 2023 in Ontario so his many family and friends can attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association, 825 Sherbrook St., Room 204, Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1M5 would be appreciated.
