Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTONATION: It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of our mom, Baba, Grandma and Great Grandma. Jean Antonation (nee Tkachuk), age 92 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 12, 2022. Jean was born October 9, 1930, in Vita, MB to Evelyn and George Tkachuk. She married Ralph Antonation in 1950 and made their home in Brandon. Jean worked at many jobs, including waitressing, Metev Woolen Mills, and her final job at Perths, before retiring to be a full-time caregiver to her husband of 56 years. She loved cooking, watching game shows and cooking shows, TV Bingo and doing Whizword puzzles. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her sons Garry (Brenda) and Jerry (Darlene); daughters Shirley (Steve) Jackson, Patsy Schepp, and Janie (Lawrence) Humeniuk; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and her brother Peter (Niki) Tkachuk of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph, parents George and Evelyn Tkachuk, brother Maurice, sister Elsie and infant brother Matt. At Jean's request, no service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Jean may be made to the charity of your choice.
