LYNN EMILY MATVIUK (DUFREANE)

MATVIUK: Lynn Emily (nee Dufreane) of Brandon, MB passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 17, 2022. Lynn was born on June 18, 1947, in Winnipeg, MB, where she grew up the oldest of four children. In 1969, Lynn married Adam and they moved to Sifton, MB to start their family. In 1989, they moved to Brandon and Lynn spent her days gardening, puttering around her home and working as a bookkeeper. She loved spending time outdoors in the sun. Our hope is that she is sitting by a pool, playing Bingo and visiting with her beloved dog Jasmine. Lynn is survived by her daughter Tanya (Scott) Johnson, son J.R. (Diane), and grandchildren Kenna and Nate Johnson. The family would like to thank Valleyview Care Centre in Brandon for keeping her safe and comfortable for the last few years. A private celebration of Lynn's life will be held at a later date.
