Rest In Peace, dear Leslie. I know. You never would have anyone at least at work address you as Leslie, it was always Judy, but when I found out about your first name I could not help but tease and use it to get your attention at work dear friend. You were the mother hen of our workplace, but you were also a fair supervisor too. You were the one who also took on the role of Christmas party organizer, making them a welcomed reprieve from the madness of our workplace. Thank you dear friend, for coming to visit me when I was in the hospital in 2009 and almost very near death’s door. It was a moment never to be forgotten. Thank you for calling me at work in September of 2020 when I had announced I was retiring. You words of thanks for working alongside you and of being the Union shop steward really touched me. Every time I have had a piece of Vinarterta, I always thought of you. Now you can rest dear friend and rejoin your beloved Dave. My deepest heartfelt condolences to her children, grandchildren, and extended family. - Posted by: Donald Burroughs (Work friend) on: Dec 24, 2022
