  • Words are never enough but I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Pauline, Shane, Brett, Billy and Cliff, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your entire family on the loss of such an incredible Husband, Dad, Brother, Family Man and a person I watched be such a huge part of his community without ever seeking to be in the limelight. I never played a minute of ball with Bob or ever had him as a coach yet whenever he saw me he was always helping me out in some way. I loved our conversations about ball and hockey however it was the ones about families that were the best. Bob always asked how my kids were doing and we always had super conversations about Shane and Brett along with family in general. He was so PROUD of his family. He was a caring and giving guy who I admired. I remember watching Bob play both fastpitch and baseball when I was younger along with hockey. A true competitor and excellent athlete who was extremely humble about his talents. He was always very interested in how I was doing while I was still playing fastpitch, so encouraging to me about enjoying the moment and playing as long as I could. I feel very fortunate to have met Bob, been close enough to your families that Bob and I could have such great conversations and that I was able to learn from such a great person by watching Bob play, coach and contribute to others' successes. Bob will be missed by so many however I know you will all have such wonderful memories, I hope these memories will provide you all with a source of support and strength during your time of loss. - Posted by: Ferdi Nelissen (Friend) on: Jan 02, 2023
