• We were saddened to hear of Elaine’s passing, but derived some comfort in knowing that she will be reunited with her beloved husband, Bob. They were our next door neighbours for seventeen years and we subsequently retained our friendship over the years. Among a number of pleasant memories, we recall Elaine as a very talented cook and excellent housekeeper. • My condolences to Ryan and family. Elaine was my next door neighbor at the Mint and became a very close friend. We exchanged food and chatted about our flowers and many other things. Elaine was a courageous woman who met life head on and weathered many a challenge. I have missed her a lot since we moved apart and our lunches had to stop due to COVID. • It is with deep sadness that we hear of Elaine’s passing. We worked with Elaine at the Gimli hospital and throughout the years we have kept in touch with phone calls, visits and Christmas cards.
