Helen Swartz passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in Calgary, AB, at the age of 66 years in the company of her adoring family.
She had lived courageously with Primary Progressive Aphasia for over a decade, never allowing it to keep her from connecting with her loved one, and always continuing to find beautiful ways to express her expansive love and surprisingly goofy sense of humour.
She is survived by her devoted husband of more than 41 years, Mark, her children Scout (Amber), Zack (Egita), her sister Frances Presma (Will), nieces Hannah and Ella, sister-in-law Jo (Richard), sister-in-law Jill (Mike) and a "village" of loving friends and relatives.
The family is deeply grateful for the kind, attentive, and uplifting care Helen received at home over three years from a wonderful and dedicated group of home care aides.

Both organizations and their activities were very dear to Helen.
