  • Lots of great memories with Jackie from her days as the rep for Air Canada Vacations. Often saw her at WSD1 school functions and always enjoyed our chats. Very sad to hear of her passing. My condolences to her family and friends. - Posted by: Lois Farley (Travel Industry) on: Feb 23, 2023

  • Barbara and I both thoroughly enjoyed Jackie as a wonderful vibrant friend. Jacquie took Barbra on the occasional trip and we both enjoy Jackie and Jerry with Jim Pappas as folks with whom we enjoyed going out to dine and see a movie together She was a great hostess with "Gerry backing her up the whole way as they were a very devoted coulple. Wishing we could have all enjoyed another outing together. Our many smypanthies go to Gerry and his childrens' families. Much love from Barbara and I. • Worked overtime this weekend...saw the notification but was only able to read it now...so thankful I will be able to pay my respects in person on the 25th...I owe so much to Jackie...words cannot begin to describe how much she gave to me and everyone who were fortunate enough to be part of her life...Jackie was a game changer who always lit up the scoreboard with her presence alone...and if you were blessed enough to be her friend she always made you feel special...for that I will always be grateful...there's a special place waiting for Our Dearest Mothers...and we all know you are there waiting for us...God Bless you and your beautiful family ❤ - Posted by: CHRIS SHAND (Family friend) on: Feb 19, 2023

  • What a great lady and friend. We became friends from her work for children with disabilities in the WSD. Even though we were attached to different political parties we agreed on 10x the things we disagreed on. We should of formed our own party She encouraged and supported my run for school trustee. I wish I would of won so I could of carried her torch forward. Fairness and sensible that was Jackie A beautiful lady that I will miss David Lobson - Posted by: David Lobson (Friend) on: Feb 18, 2023

  • The world could use a few more powerhouses like Jackie. Smart, straightforward women are greatly needed. Jackie loved life, and that was evident in everything she did and said. As a parent, it was a privilege to get to know her and work with her during her time as Trustee for the Winnipeg School Division. My sincere sympathies to her family for their loss. May it comfort you to know that her passing will be felt by many. - Posted by: Barbara Coombs (Friend ) on: Jan 23, 2023

  • I was sad to hear of Jackie’s passing. Jackie provided me and many others with guidance and friendship. I have not been in touch for a few years but will always remember her sense of humour, the stories she would tell, and how much she loved her family. Heaven has gained an angel🙏 - Posted by: Kim schifke (Friend) on: Jan 22, 2023

  • I am so sorry to hear of Jackie's passing. I'll always remember her as someone who was always so quick to help someone in need with advise or recommendations. She always had a solution for a problem. She also had great wit with a twinkle in her eye and a chuckle from her mischevious spirit; she truly loved people whose path she crossed and will be so missed by many. But her proudest achievement of all was her family who were more precious to her than anything she had accomplished. - Posted by: Leanne Bardal (Friend) on: Jan 21, 2023

  • Shirley and I are sorry to hear about Jackie. Our condolences. - Posted by: Larry Bainard (Friend and co worker) on: Jan 21, 2023
