CAROLE JAWORSKI
With sadness the family of Carole Jaworski announce her passing on Friday, January 20, 2023, at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 74 years.
She will be fondly remembered by her sister Donna Motz and brother-in-law James Motz; nephew Barry Motz (Susie), nieces, Kirby Rattenbury (Tye) and Tessa Schneider (Scott); her great-nephews and nieces, Kyle, Haley, and Tyler Motz, Torin and Cray Rattenbury, Duke, Jake, and Callie Schneider. As well, by many cousins, and by the nurses and staff of Actionmarguerite Personal Care Home where Carole was a resident for the last 30 years. Carole was predeceased by her mother Sophie in 2016 and father Charles in 1990. Mom and Dad took care of Carole at home for the first 20 years after her accident and never gave up on her.
Carole was born on September 12, 1948 at St. Boniface Hospital. She was an absolutely beautiful person, a graduate of Sisler High School and Red River Community College. She had everything to live for. Then a tragic automobile accident in July, 1973 left her totally and permanently disabled. Although she lived on in the most difficult of circumstances she was always a positive and content person. She could express herself through her hand and foot motions and was able to communicate at times through a letter board. She would interact with us on memories from the past, and she so frequently responded incorporating the words "beautiful" and "lovely". Carole was a person of positive thoughts, happy to see you, and sad when you left. A practicing Catholic she attended mass regularly at her care home. We felt Carole was like our saint on earth. Some say, the more difficult your life on earth, the higher your place in heaven. Carole is surely there now.
We would like to sincerely thank the nurses and staff at Actionmarguerite for taking such wonderful care of Carole all these years. Thank you also to Dr. Bhuller and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital who treated Carole so well during her final days.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street West St. Paul. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Cemetery where Carole will be put to rest beside her parents.

To have lived two-thirds of her life in the face of the adversity that she did makes my Auntie Carole one of the most inspirational people I've known in my 45 years on this earth. Also, it is wonderful to see these posts from her childhood friends. - Posted by: Barry Motz (nephew) on: Jan 26, 2023

Free at last...Fly Girl..Go as fast as you can..Scream at the top of your lungs and Sing the words loud and Clear...You are a Bird coming out of it's shell...Run into the arms of your Mother that that she may finally see you free of the bonds that held you...Glorious Journey Carole... - Posted by: Cecile Restiaux (Caregiver) on: Jan 24, 2023

Carole and I became friends at a very early age at St Peters church and also in school. All my memories of that time were with her. I remember sitting in her bedroom reading Photoplay and hanging out the window. She was very brilliant and a a great friend. Sofie would make her beautiful clothes and everyone was envious. It did challenge my belief in God when she had her accident. I hope she was able to enjoy somethings in life. Love to the family. - Posted by: Karin Peterson (Childhood friend. ) on: Jan 24, 2023
