It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Donna Lynn Price, loving sister, aunt and best friend in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Robert (Mary), Richard and Stephen, nephew Christopher (Jamie), great-nieces, Aliyah, Lauren and Isla, nephew-in-law Brian, nephew Joel, niece Shalah, nephew Brook (Tiffany), great-nephew Austin, great-nephew Isaac, great-nieces, Vaida and Presley, cousins, Richard and Kathy (McGillis), second cousin Tyler (McGillis) and best friends, Linda and Barb.
Predeceased by father Robert, mother Dorothy and nephew Michael.
The family sends a special thank you to Paul England, Kerry, Penny and all the staff and co-workers she knew while working at Canadian Tire for their care and compassion following this most devastating and unexpected loss.
We will never forget someone who gave us so much to remember.
A private family service will take place later this year at Pinecrest Cemetery in Ottawa, Ontario.

  • Days have passed and have now turned into years, but you will always be remembered on this, your Birthday, and everyday. - Posted by: Stephen (Brother) on: May 12, 2025

  • Hello my bestie....it's hard to believe it's 2 years. How I've missed you...just want to hug you again. Customers are still asking where you are....you are missed by many loved by all. As I'm retired life is boring, I need to laugh and joke again with you. We had so many laughs that you were crying and you would tell me to quit joking but you lived it. I'm going to be a great grandma again to a little girl in April. Please watch over Madison while she carries this precious bundle. You would have been happy for her. Well my friend it was nice talking to you, ❤️ you till we talk again. Behave yourself....I can see your smirk lol. - Posted by: Barbra Blair (Bestie) on: Jan 16, 2025

  • No one tells you what it’s like to lose a sibling. No one tells you it feels like suffocating, like there’s a weight on your chest that never quiet subsides. I feel it every day. Sometimes it’s hard to breathe, it’s hard to think, it’s hard to understand. No one tells you how unimportant everything else seems in comparison. No one tells you about the guilt, the what ifs, the things you could have said, or the questions you never asked. No one tells you about the moments you realize that maybe you didn’t know everything about her or about what she thought. No one tells you about the avoidance. It’s numbing. It’s easier to pretend nothing happened, to speak about her as if she’s still here or don’t mention her at all for fear of breaking down. No one tells you how overwhelmingly impossible it seems to try to imagine a time where this doesn’t hurt. To imagine a day where you don’t cry. To imagine what it’s like to feel whole again. No one tells you that when people say you’re strong, it makes you feel weak. That your strong exterior really comes from failure to face the pain and an assortment of unhealthy coping mechanisms. No one tells you how to cope, how to face a world without your big sister. No one shows you how to grieve without falling apart. No one tells you these things because there’s no warning for your sibling’s death. No one tells you because no one expected to live the rest of their life without her. - Posted by: Stephen Price (Brother) on: Feb 09, 2024

  • What a loving and caring person. That was one of the only people in my family that showed me unconditional love. Love you always Aunt Donna. Hugs - Posted by: Shalah Price (Aunt ) on: Jan 24, 2024

  • I am sorry to hear about the death of Donna, I remember her as a gentle quiet girl that everyone liked. I will always remember the Pine Grove days. She looks exactly the same now as she did back then. Love and prayers Donna Kryskinski - Posted by: Donna Krysinski (Old friend) on: Aug 14, 2023

  • We are missing you donna so much hope you had a happy birthday in heaven with everyone. You always enjoyed being at family events and made the grandkids feel special with all your surprises. We know you are looking down on us and looking out for us all as you looked out for us all in life. Rob and Mary - Posted by: Rob and Mary price (Sister and sister in law) on: Jun 04, 2023

  • Happy heavenly birthday Donna...I sure miss you, there's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you or talk to you. We would've retired June 14/23 as that is my last day and you were waiting for me to retire. But my retirement is sooner due to me having left knee replacement on June 16th which you were so worried about. But I'll be just fine and your going to watch over me as I will feel you there. You enjoy your day and I'll talk to you soon. - Posted by: Barbra Blair (Bestie) on: May 12, 2023

  • The passing of my little sister still stings, there are so many memories. I just keep thinking I should have said this or I could have done that but like the old saying; you don't realize what you have till it's gone. Donna was the kindest and most caring person I have ever known and everyone who knew her would say the same. I wish we could share an ice cream, a chocolate, a coffee or an impromptu waltz around the cabin to Phil Collins "Groovy Kinda Love" just once more. We'll meet again "sis" and we will do just that, I promise! Love ya sis. - Posted by: Rick (Brother ) on: Apr 07, 2023

  • “To my big sister, You were always there for me, and I will forever love and miss you with all my heart.” - Posted by: Stephen (Brother) on: Mar 02, 2023

  • I am saddened to learn of Donna’s passing. Although disconnected over the years I have many memories of our younger years. My sincere condolences to her families. I would be grateful if Robert or Richard could reach out to me. - Posted by: Susan (Patrois) Stavenow (Childhood friend) on: Feb 06, 2023
