APRIL LEE WILLIAMS
April 29, 1972 - November 30, 2022

It is with heavy hearts we announce that April Williams passed away on November 30, 2022 in her home at the age of 50.
She is survived by her sister Cindy Pridgeon; niece and nephews, Paige Pridgeon, Kieran Pridgeon, and Dartanion Watts; along with extended family, James Watts, Danny McCaw, and Trent Hiscock.
April loved reading, and traveling was a passion of hers. Although she was a private person, her love shone through for her family and she was often considered to be the strongest of those that knew her. April joined the Army Reserves in 1989 and proudly served as a Supply Technician for units in Yellowknife, BC, and Ottawa until 2009. Upon retirement April eventually joined the civilian military team as a "public service employee" where she provided outstanding administration and procurement services.
April's family kindly requests that you take a few minutes to visit her tribute page at EthicalDeathCare.com. A photo-biography, as well as memories and stories, published by those who knew her will be available soon.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • There is not a day that goes by where I don't look over at your desk and think of you April. You were a wonderful, caring and supportive friend and as a co-worker - you were always there to help with any problem that arose. I miss your knowledge, your quiet humor and ready smile. Thank you for being my friend! - Posted by: Vicki Smyth (Friend and Co-worker) on: Feb 07, 2023

  • My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. - Posted by: Kevin (Co-worker) on: Feb 07, 2023

  • April was an exemplary coworker, she taught me almost everything I know of the procurement procedure applied her in Winnipeg and it's with heavy heart that I now see her go. I may not have been close to her or known her deeply, but I can say this with certitude; she'll be missed. I do not intend to ever forget her for she inspired me to greatness and I know she did the same to her relative so perhaps, in a sense, she remain with us in our hearts. Nevertheless, I wish to take this opportunity to pass on my deepest condolences to her family and relative so that they may understand that they are not alone in their pain. May her spirit shine through you all and may you grief in peace for there are no greater pain than loosing someone that was once close to you. Again, sorry for your loss, - Étienne Landry - Posted by: Étienne Landry (Coworker) on: Feb 07, 2023
