CESARIO (CHARLIE) BERMUDEZ SR.
November 1, 1941 – January 29, 2023

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, Cesario Bermudez Sr., Charlie.
Born in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija to Col. Vicente Bermudez and Segunda Paguergan Bermudez, in November 1941, Charlie was their only surviving child.
After completing Mechanical Engineering at Manuel L. Quezon University, Charlie graduated as a Diesel Mechanic from Guzman Institute of Technology, meeting his wife, Perlita (née Lopez), shortly after. He silently admired the nursing student from University of the East, until she returned to Cuyapo to work her first job as a surgical nurse.
The pair moved to Oyen, Alberta in the 70's, where Charlie would work as a Mechanic for GM. They would then move to Winnipeg, where they would begin their family and Charlie would workat Dominion Tanners as Mechanical Maintenance until he retired.
Charlie was predeceased by his parents, sisters and four angels.
Surviving him are his wife, Perlita; four children, Mary Lou, Cesario Jr., Valerie, and Cesar; and grandchildren: Amedeo, Chaz, and Angelica.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Harris and the Dialysis Unit at St. Boniface, for all of the support they gave our parents over the years.
Viewing will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Friday, February 17, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to midnight. Prayers will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will take place at St. Joseph's Church, 355 Andrews St., on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow, at Glen Eden Funeral Home.
