I was so glad that I got to see and talk to Lloyd at the school reunion. So many years have passed and yet it was great to see him. We had a few laughs of old days and now a days. From high school until now is amazing to be friends of a far. From our hunting days to getting in trouble in Clear Lake to riding horses at the Abel’s. There are so many memories of younger days. It brings tears to your eyes to think you will never see him again on this Earth. My deepest sympathies to his families of his whole life. See you again I hope. Bye for now!!! Lloyd Abel was my partner of 25 years and our love was unconditional. We made a lifetime of memories and shared many adventures including camping, fishing, road trips and welcoming our grandchildren into this world. Lloyd was an amazing cook and so enjoyed entertaining everyone with his culinary skills, and also taught me the fine arts of cooking. In fact, one of his creations was his famous bread crumb recipe. Everyone who knew Lloyd requested the recipe but he kept that his well guarded secret. Instead, he enjoyed making up batches of them and giving them away to friends and family. Lloyd was a generous and compassionate person with a big heart who was compelled to help people when they down and out. His determination and stamina were relentless when things needed to get done. My sweetheart will be missed in more ways than one, not just by me but by everyone whose life he touched. Rest in peace my partner, forever friend and love…..until we meet again. ❤️ Love Gabriele Deakin. - Posted by: Gabriele Deakin (Fiancee) on: Feb 11, 2023
